UPTOWN MARKETPLACE VENDOR APPLICATION
Details of renting a booth:
1. It is a 6-month lease
2. If accepted, a security deposit equal to one month’s rent is required to be paid at the time you sign your lease.
3. The cost of rent is $2.40 per sq ft. Example: a 10 x 10 booth is $240 per month.
4. 13% commission is paid to the store on all sales.
5. Vendor is not charged the credit card fees.
6. Payouts are done twice a month on the 5th and 20th of the month.
7. If accepted, you will be told what types of merchandise you are approved to sell. We reserve the right to approve all merchandise that is brought into the store. Our goal is to maintain an upscale image and not degenerate into a yard sale/thrift store/flea market type appearance.
8. Please return your application, along with 5 pictures of the type of items that you are wanting to sell. If you currently or previously had a booth in a store, please submit pictures of your booth as well. You can also submit your application and pictures by sending them to uptownmarketplacewesttown@yahoo.com Your application will be put on file, you will be contacted to come in for an interview once we have available booths. Please note- I DO NOT use the “next on the list” method. All my vendors are chosen by whom I feel will be the BEST FIT for the store at that time. Anyone that can offer Unique/different items to the store, will be given first consideration.
***BE SURE TO SUBMIT YOUR PICTURES. APPLICATIONS WITHOUT PICTURES WILL BE CONSIDERED INCOMPLETE AND WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED!!
