We opened Uptown Marketplace in 2020 to give Augusta-area antique dealers, vintage collectors, artisan makers, and resellers a single, well-managed multi-vendor floor where they could reach shoppers without the overhead of a standalone storefront. Augusta had no shortage of individual dealers. What it lacked was a curated, well-staffed space that brought them together under one roof and gave shoppers a reason to stay a while.
